Sophia is a research-driven urban planner who believes in the power of equitable, community-centered planning to create healthier, more inclusive cities. She is enthusiastic about using spatial analysis, policy research, and community engagement to bridge the gap between technical data and real-world impact. Sophia’s work has included GIS mapping of environmental justice topics, policy research on land use remediation, and community engagement to support increased food access. As a planner, Sophia aims to create healthier, more inclusive, and resilient cities.
