R+A is committed to elevating public health and equity as part of a community’s planning decisions. Our work is deeply embedded in the principles of planning for healthy people and places.
We understand the importance of ensuring access to healthy food, safe pedestrian and bicycle routes, parks, open space, jobs, and health care. To understand the unique needs of a community we develop partnerships with community-based organizations and create tools that identify disparities in exposure, access, and opportunity that can be addressed through innovative and inclusive policies and actions.
